Mar Gonzalez Franco has obtained BSc degrees in both Technical Computer Engineering and Multimedia Engineering, gaining a distinction with the best academic curricula award 2008 in La Salle Engineering School URL, Spain.
During her bachelor studies she worked as a research programmer at the University ARC Group, and as practise assistant on the Digital Image Processing course at the Communication and Signal Processing Department.
Currently she is enrolled on the joint UB and UPC Biomedical Engineering MSc. And she is member of the EVENT-Lab at UB.
Previously, she was a researcher at CREB-UPC, where she developed a 3D cognitive rehabilitation virtual environment for the Neurorhabilitation Hospital Institut Guttmann.
Recently she has won a grant to develop her MSc final project on BCI
at the Institute of Neural Engineering in Tsinghua University, Beijing. She’ll be leaving for China in February 2010.
