University Education

I am currently doing my PhD at the EVENT-Lab at UB. The purpose of my PhD is find out how to develop Interactive Narratives within Immersive Technologies.

Before this, I obtained a Master in Software Engineering at Departament de Llenguatges i Sistemes Informàtics of theUPC.

A couple of years ago, I did a pluridisciplinar Master in Research in Cognitive Sciences between several institutions (EHESS, ENS, Polytechnique and Paris VI), specializing in Cognitive Neurosciences.

Before that, I cursed a 5 years Double Diploma in Electrical Engineering, between ETSETB school of UPC and ENST, specializing in Signal Treatment and Computational Intelligence.

I also studied 2 years of Philosophy at UB, but never finished the degree.


Career Summary

I am currently working at EVENT-Lab at UB.

Before, I used to work at Starlab, a Research-based company.

Before, I worked for a while as freelance, doing collaborative web design (http://campusvirtual.ub.edu, among others), as a programming consultant (developing Java Spring applications), and did different small jobs in audiovisual industry (worked for The Lift and Ovideo, among others).

Before that I did some research in France between the Musical Perception and Cognition Department of IRCAM and the Hôpital de la Pitié Salpètrière, under the direction of Daniel Pressnitzer, now at ENS. The purpose of that research was to determine the neural basis of an auditory illusion named the “auditory continuity illusion”.
