ABSTRACT:
As robots leave industrial settings to become real human partners, research on human collaboration gains importance in engineering. Due to their physical strength robots are built to assist humans in haptic tasks (e.g. joint object manipulation). However, it is still unclear how the model, which is implemented on the robot, has to be designed. Here, the goal is an intuitive interaction with the human user. Results related to the following topics are presented:
- Efficiency of intention recognition via mutual haptic feedback
- Dominance distributions between partners
- Shared decision making
